COLORADO:
A HISTORICAL ATLAS

Cover of Colorado: A Historical Atlas

This was a labor of love for both myself and author Tom Noel, "Dr. Colorado" and history professor at University of Colorado Denver. We worked long distance for a couple of years creating more than 100 color, full-page maps.

The book contains 30 chapters covering everything from the state's dinosaur bones to the Indian settlements to the explorers, cowboys, gold mines, modern-day legislative districts...anything and everything Coloradoan is in here.

University of Oklahoma Press did a beautiful design worthy of your coffee table. The book has won numerous awards. I highly recommend it as a gift to those who, like me, love the Centennial State.

From review by Bernard Rose, Montana Billings Gazette

"My first reaction to the book was: Why don’t we have a book like this for Montana?
The real key to the book are the full color maps drawn by Carol Zuber-Mallison. They are extraordinary."
